🎤LOVE IS THE FIRST AND GREATEST COMMANDMENT (Matt 22:37-38)
Beloved in Christ, it is a new day, and in this new day, by the grace of God, we are going to be visited by favour. It is a day of new things and I pray for you that God may do something new and great in your life through Christ our Lord. Amen.
St Paul really said it and I believe; all things work together unto good for those who love God (Rom 8:28). If you really love God, then you certainly have nothing to be afraid of because it means that you have all that matters.
To love is to keep all the commandments because God is love (1 John 4:16) and all commandments comes from God. And so, since God is love, the commandments have love as their foundation (cf. Matt 22:37-40).❤
By the way, loving God comes with lots of blessings and fulfilment. That explains the contentment of Simeon at seeing Jesus in the temple (cf. Luke 2:25-32). Yet, it also comes with a sword; Mary would have a share in it (cf. Luke 2:35).
So if you want to know God, love; if you want to love God, begin by loving that person beside you (see 1 John 4:20).
Let love then guide you as we gradually walk into the new year and you will experience the transforming presence of God in your life. Amen
Have a lovely and transforming day ahead. Peace be with you.
