YOU ARE UNSTOPPABLE!
⏰Monday of the Third Week in Ordinary Time II (22 Jan 2018)
????2 Sam 5:1-7, 10; Ps 59:20, 21-22, 25-26 (R.v.25a); Mark 3:22-30
My dear, in this new working week, I pray that nothing shall stand in your way to achieving your destiny and that you may emerge victorious in all things especially in your spiritual battles against the enemies of Christ. Amen.
Whatever God says you shall be is what you must be. The enemy might try for a while to plant an evil seed in your life in order to bring you pains, but your faith in God and patience with him are all you need to be happy and victorious. Remember the parable of the weed in Matt 13:24-43.
You can see that in the life of David. Last week, we read of how he was anointed king by Samuel and how the king wanted to eliminate him. Opportunity came his way to cut corners by killing the king and ascending the throne immediately. But David chose to follow God’s bidding completely and faithfully until it is time for God’s plans to be actualized in his life.
Do you not see the testimony of that in today’s First Reading? Instead of David becoming the king by force, the people went to him and made him their king. So don’t worry about whatever you might be going through at the moment. Just be patient with God. And as long as he lives,
????You shall not beg for food, people shall search out for you to give you food;
????You shall not remain jobless, people shall search out for you to give you job;
????Your sickness shall become a thing of the past because the Lord himself shall be your healer;
????Your future shall be secured because it is God’s hands.
See! Prepare yourself for the criticism and unfair judgements that must follow. People shall marvel at the blessings of God around you and your enemies shall be uncomfortable. Surely, they will begin to speak evil of you as they did to Jesus in the gospel. But just as Jesus silenced them today, so shall God silence your enemies through Christ our Lord. Amen.
May Christ increase and sustain your faith and strengthen you to persevere in the face of difficulties so that at the appointed time, we shall receive our breakthrough and rejoice in him. Amen.
Have a fruitful and miraculous week ahead. Peace be with you.
