🎤”BE FRUITFUL AND MULTIPLY, AND FILL THE EARTH” (Gen 9:1)

My dear, you are destined to be blessed and no power can stop you. Just be patient with God. Hard times would not last forever. As long as God is involved, your story shall end in testimony. But you must be patient to allow God’s plans to manifest.

The story of Noah’s blessing in Gen 9:1-13 gives us a strong reason to keep that patience alive. Do you remember the first time that sentence in Gen 9:1 appeared in the scripture? It was in Gen 1:28, right at the creation of man. So it was the fact that man was destined to be blessed. But sin changed the course of that destiny temporarily. Man had to suffer from such things as the flood, but that is not the end of the story; victory and blessing are the end of it.

Yes! God’s will for us is always good but his ways and the way to actualize his will may be very bitter to us and painful to understand (see Matt 7:9-11). So in all things and in all circumstances we must give thanks to him (see Eph 5:20; 1Thess 5:18) and wait for him patiently even if he seems to delay (cf. Hab 2:3).

May He open our eyes to understand what His will holds for us today and grant us the grace of holy perseverance. Amen.

Remember to pray today for those who are suffering, poor and needy and especially those who have grown tired of life.

Peace be with you.
