🎤”YOUR LIGHT MUST SHINE OUT BEFORE OTHERS” (Matt 5:16)

Christianity is not a private religion but a relational one. Our lives as Christians have influence on others, positively or negatively. Remember that Jesus is the light of the world (John 8:12) and what we do as Christians is to try and follow him faithfully in order to become like him. Have we been able to become the light of the world too since we started following him?

Are you shining out enough for people to see God through you. You can shine out by using the gift God has given to you to affect the lives of others positively. That is when we place the lamp on the stand for all to see. Hiding your gifts or talents makes it destructive to you and to others. It would not benefit them and it might suffocate you.

God has already given you those gifts, why not emulate the attitude of David today by praying back to him to guide you into actualizing what he wants of you in the world? He does not abandon the prayer of a humble heart.

May he hear and answer your prayers, and give you the grace let your light stand out at all times. May his own light, Christ, show us the way at all times. Amen.

Have illuminuous day ahead. It is well with you.
