🎤WATCH AND PRAY!
We have, in the past, talked about focusing on the kingdom of God in our journey of faith. But we know that no matter how wide open your eyes are, if you are not supported by the grace of God, there won’t be any headway for us. That is why we must pray always for God’s abiding presence especially in moments when God seems to be very far from us.
Moses gave us an example of that prayerful watch in Exod 33:7 – 34:28. That encounter enabled us to discover that God, who stands for justice is equally compassionate and merciful. While we are making great effort as parents and guardians to train our children well, we must equally ensure that we always talk to God about them.
If we fail to turn to God, we will be running at the risk of perishing in the end. But if we turn to God, we shall shine out with him like the sun (see Matt 13:36-43).
Again, this serves as encouragement for all who feel that they are hunted by ancestral sins, if you would turn your face prayerfully to God, he is ever ready to liberate you and make you shine out like the sun.
May that divine beam light locate you to purify you to be at peace with God and let you shine out with tremendous success in all that you do. Amen.
Have a happy day ahead in the presence of God. Peace be with you.
