YOU SHALL PROSPER BEFORE YOUR ENEMIES
⏰Monday of the Thirty-Fourth Week of Ordinary Time 1 (27 Nov 2017)
????Dan 1:1-6, 8-20; Dan 3:29-30, 31, 33, 32, 34 (R.v.29b); Luke 21:1-4
My dear, in Dan 1:1-20, Daniel and his three Jewish countrymen were placed with other with other young men being trained in the King’s courtyard. The king is to choose the best of them for service in his court. The others were being fed from the King’s kitchen but Daniel and his countrymen had another provider – God.
So in the end, they were chosen as the best. It is not about how much you work or contribute. Contributing your own quota is very important, but with God beside you to give his approval, you shall succeed beyond people’s imaginations.
However, that success must not be achieved through wrong ways. The young Jews did not have to soil their hands from the kings kitchen. There was no case of heaven helps those who help themselves. Rather, they trusted God with all their heart, and the Lord who sees in secret (cf. Luke 21:1-4) rewarded them.
I pray that God may be with you in this new working week so that all that you place your hands on in faith will experience radical transformation to greatness. Amen.
Have a smooth running and successful working week. Peace be with you.
