THE WORD OF GOD SHALL FOREVER TRIUMPH!

⏰Saturday of the Thirty-Third Week of Ordinary Time 1 (25 Nov 2017)

????1 Mac 6:1-13; Ps 9:2-3, 4 and 6, 16 and 19 (R.v.15c); Luke 20:27-40

Does that not give you a cause to be joyous?

That means that whatever the word of God says about you shall come to pass. And he says in John 20:19, “Peace be with you.” And in another place he says, “I have come that [you] may have life, life in all its fullness” (John 10:10). To you who are sick, “By his stripes, you are healed” (1 Pet 2:24). To the barren, “Be fruitful and multiply” (Gen 1:28).

Can you see those promises coming to pass in your life?

In 1 Mac 6:1-13, we see the final end of the evil King Antiochus Epiphanes. It was triumph for the people of God and sorrow for him. No matter how the enemy tries against you, the word of God in your life shall continue to triumph.

Why not? Did you not see how the Sadducees tried to silence Jesus in Luke 20:27-33? They would have succeeded in ridiculing Jesus had he not used the living word of God to defeat them.

Wait a minute! When was the last time you touched your Bible to read the word of God? Do not allow the devil to triumph in your life because you are ignorant of the word of God. Great saints are able to withstand persecution and trial because the word of God formed the stronghold of their life.

What is your own stronghold?

As you put your trust in God, may he not allow you to stumble and may you always emerge victorious in the face of trials. Amen.

Have a victorious and restful weekend. Peace be with you.
