🎤THE VOICE OF CHANGE
My dear, sin is an abomination before God. In fact, we can say that it is sin that cannot withstand the presence of God. Hence, whenever we sin, we move away from the presence of God, and so, exposed to the dangers which the wicked one tries to unleash in the world.
This was exactly what was happening with the relationship which God had with the Israelites. Whenever they committed sin, they made themselves vulnerable to the attacks of the enemy. Yet, God never abandoned them; he sent them judges to lead them and save them (cf. Judges 2:11-19).
In our time, we are even more privileged that it is God himself who comes to save us. Are we not going to follow him as he invites us to shun materialism and seek heaven (cf. Matt 19:16-22)?
In this new working week, we pray that God may grant us a firm resolve to follow Jesus without looking back. And as we follow him, may he bless all the works of our hands with abundance. Amen.
On Saturday this week, that is on the 24th day of August, 2019, I shall be celebrating my Sixth Year Anniversary in the priesthood. I dedicate this week to prayer for final perseverance and I invite you to continue your prayers for me as well.
Have a smooth running week in faithful followership of Christ. Peace be with you.
