🎤TAKE IT TO THE LORD IN PRAYER

🎼What a friend we have in Jesus!

All our sins and grief to bear!

What a privilege to carry

Everything to God in prayer!

Oh, what peace we often forfeit,

Oh, what needless pain we bear;

All because we do not carry

Everything to God in prayer.🎷

After receiving the comforting words from her husband, as we saw yesterday (cf. 1 Sam 1:8), Hannah went to open her heart to the Lord because she has realized that her help can only come from the Lord, who made heaven and earth (Ps 121:1-2).

The result of that meeting with the Lord is that the man of God blessed her with peace and sealed her prayers with his (1 Sam 1:17). As the song above tells us, we often forfeit this peace because we fail to take our problems to God in prayers.

One good news is that Jesus has authority over all things and is ever ready to silence any force that rises to torment us (see Mark 1:21-28). But, are ready to come to him?

As you make effort to talk to God about that your troubling situation, I pray that he may grant you great peace and transform your test to testimony through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Have a peaceful day ahead. Peace be with you.
