“PUT ON LOVE, WHICH BINDS EVERYTHING TOGETHER IN PERFECT HARMONY” (Col 3:14)

⏰Thursday of the Twenty-Third Week of Ordinary Time 1 (12 Sept. 2019)

📕Col 3:12-17; Ps 150:1b-2, 3-4, 5-6 (R.v.6); Luke 6:27-38

🎤”PUT ON LOVE, WHICH BINDS EVERYTHING TOGETHER IN PERFECT HARMONY” (Col 3:14)

All that St. Paul said in Col 3:12-17 could be summarized into a single command, “Put on Christ.” Remember that Christ is God (cf. John 1:1; Phil 2:6) and God is love (1 John 4:16). So, anyone who dwells in Christ dwells in love.

Consider the contents of love which were proposed by St. Paul in 1 Cor 13:4-8 in line with this message. In that case, it will no longer be necessary to begin to remind the person all that Jesus said in Luke 6:27-38 and the details of Col 3:12-17.

Are you a follower of Christ? Do you call yourself a Christian? Do you love as much as Jesus loves? Do you even know how much Jesus loves us? Look at the cross. It is an endless and sacrificial love.

Join in the train of spreading that love and the world would be a better place to be.

May God help us to love others as much as he loves us. Amen.

Have a lovely day ahead. Peace be with you.
