HOW COMMITTED AM I?

HOW COMMITTED AM I?
The world today is more interested in bearing titles than in carrying out the duties attached to the titles. You often hear people say, “Do you know who I am?” And I normally reply to those people, “Six feet!” That’s if the people are kind enough to even dig up to that when burying the person.
Some will not answer their names if it was not completed like this, “High Chief Sir Dr…, Consultant General of Chimaobi Teaching Hospital.” But when the time comes for work that is associated with those titles, he will become unavailable.
Check yourself and evaluate yourself as I’m doing for myself right now; how committed are you to your work? Jesus gives us an example to follow. Even when he had retired to rest, people who needed his help forced him out because he has concern for them (cf. Mark 3:20-21). People then thought that he was going mad because he chose to go beyond the standards set by the world.
This is not to say that you should not rest after work. It is only a pointer that we need to be committed to our labour so as to make the world a better place.
May God help us and give us strength to do our labours very well and also let you be well sustained by the labour of our hands. Amen.
Kindly pray for those who are still searching for job opportunities. Peace be with you
