We have finally come to the last day of another liturgical year of the Church. By tomorrow, we shall be beginning a new liturgical year in the Church with the First Sunday of Advent. Were you able to achieve the spiritual target you did set for yourself in this past year? Get yourself ready for onward movement to the next level because you are a conqueror in Christ Jesus!
Truly, things are generally very difficult these days. Our world seems to be drifting continuously into backwardness, where the wicked prospers and the just suffers. The prophet Daniel encourages us by reminding us that the Son of Man shall triumph over all the evil forces in the end (cf. Dan 7:15-27).
We are therefore urged to hearken to the voice of Jesus and seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, knowing that everything else will be added for us (cf. Matt 6:33). Jesus encourages us as well not to allow our spirit be dampen by difficulties and disappointments. Instead, let us pray for the strength to persevere in righteousness till the end (see Luke 21:34-36).
May God prosper the work of your hands and grant you fulfilment in this life, and a share in his kingdom in the end. Amen.
Have a happy and restful weekend. Peace be with you.
