NOW IS THE TIME OF CHANGE; TOMORROW MAY BE TOO LATE!

My dear, I welcome you to this new working week. I pray that it may be a week of abundant rain of blessings and divine protection for you. May God give you a reason to be congratulated and celebrated this week and beyond. Amen

Indeed, the Lord wants to bless you and restore your joy. Yet, there is something you must do to gain that blessing. The Book of Sirach tells us, Return to the Most High and turn away from iniquity, and hate abominations intensely (Sir 17:26). He equally reminds us of the urgency because it is only those who are alive that can do this (cf. Sir 17:28).

One sin that we must run away from is the sin against charity. The Gospel (Mark 10:17-27) tries to warn us against this sin.

Being rich is a blessing from God (cf. 1 Kings 3:13) but over-attachment to the wealth could be disastrous. The rich young man (Mark 10:17) zealously RAN-UP to Jesus in pursuit of eternal life but moodily WENT AWAY sad (Mark 10:22) because he could not afford to share his wealth with others. He preferred his wealth to eternal life.

In this new working week, may material possessions and positions of honour might not obstruct you from enjoying eternal life in the Kingdom of God in the end. Amen.

I wish you a blessed and fruitful week ahead. Peace be with you.

NB: Lent begins in this week with the Ash Wednesday. Are you prepared to make the best of it?
