DISPOSE YOURSELF TO THE LORD AND HE WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU

⏰Wednesday of the Twenty-Fifth Week of Ordinary Time 2 (26 Sept. 2018)

📖Prov 21:1-6, 10-13; Ps 119:1, 27, 30, 34, 35, 44 (R.v.35a); Luke 8:19-21

May the blessings of the Almighty God overshadow you this day and beyond. Amen.

Proverbs 30:5 says that “God is a shield to those who take refuge in him.” Never you ever think that the Lord has abandoned you to your fate. That is how the devil wants you to feel. But stand up against him because he is a liar and the father of liars (John 8:44).

Instead, stand for the Lord who has promised to be with you (Matt 28:20) to guide, protect and provide for you (Psalm 23).

He has given us authority over demons, principalities and powers; over sicknesses of any kind (Luke 9:1) and he said, “Decree ye a thing and it shall come to pass” (Job 22:28), for whoever believes in him would do even greater works than he did and anything we ask the Father in his name shall be accomplished (John 14:12-13).

So what are you waiting for?
Why are you lying down in lamentation over your fate?
Are you accepting defeat already?
No, don’t! You are a victor in Christ Jesus! (Rom 8:37). Stand up and claim your victory because he that is you is more powerful than the one who is in the world (1 John 4:4). You are unstoppable!

Just make sure that you make the Word of the Lord a lamp for your feet (Ps 119:105); flee from sin (see Prov 30:8-9) and the devil would have no power over you.

And may the words of our mouth, and the meditation of our heart, be acceptable in the sight of the LORD, our strength, and our redeemer (cf. Ps 19:14). Amen.

Have a hitch free and victorious day. Peace be with you.
