⏰Thursday of the Twenty-First Week of Ordinary Time 1 (31 August 2017)

📖1 Thess 3:7-13; Ps 90:3-4, 12-13, 14 and 17 (R.v.14); Matt 24:42-51

My dear, no matter how hard it is at night, joy comes with the dawn. Even when some people tried to rubbish the work of St. Paul and his companions, they were consoled at last that their efforts were able to plant the seed of faith in the Thessalonians. May your efforts to succeed in life also yield positive results through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Just make sure that you do not degenerate into evil because of hardship and problems. Everything in life has an expiry date, including your hardships and problems. But that also includes your life. If you fall into sin in an effort to find a solution to your problems, that would be falling into a bigger problem.

Remember that the Lord is coming at an hour that we do not know (see Matt 24:42-51). We need to be ready for him in righteousness.

May the Lord grant us that persevering faith in him, letting us know that non of our problems would be too much for him to take care of. And may this faith in him never fail us. Amen.

I wish you a day of breakthrough and success. Peace be with you.
