????Hos 14:1-9; Ps 81:6c-8a, 8bc-9, 10-11ab, 14 and 17 (R.v.11a, 9b); Mark 12:28b-34

Indeed LOVE is the greatest commandment as Jesus said (Mark 12:29-31). If you love God, you will not sin as that causes separation between you and him (Isa 59:2).

Hence, the call which Hosea makes to us to return to God is a call for us to re-embrace love for God is love (1 John 4:16).

????If you love your neighbour, you will not tell him a lie since that is deceptive;

????You will not cheat or steal from him as that deprives him of something valuable (Lev 19:11);

????You will not engage in sexual immorality with him since that destroys his body which is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1Cor 6:19);

????You will not gossip with his name as that destroys the confidence he entrusted to you (Prov 20:19) and make him worthless before others.

The list is endless. Imagine how beautiful this world would be if we all live in love and show love to others.

May God help us to live in love, and love him with our whole heart, mind, soul and body (Deut 6:5) and our neighbour as ourself (Lev 19:18). Amen.

I wish you a lovely day ahead. Peace be with you.
