PRAYER IS THE MASTER KEY

⏰Thursday of the Ninth Week in Ordinary Time 1 (08 June 2017)

????Tob 6:9-12, 7:1cd, 9-12, 16; Ps 128:1-2, 3, 4-5 (R.v.1a); Mark 12:28b-34

Reading through the book of Tobit, chapters 3, 6, 7 and 8, I remembered this song:
“Prayer is the key; (2x)
“Prayer is the master key;
“Jesus started with prayer, and ended with prayer;
“Prayer is the master key.”

Indeed prayer is the key that opens locked doors. Do you have any locked door now? It could the door of good health, marriage, fertility, employment, admission, exam success, prosperity, etc. The key is in your hand; begin now to unlock that door. With faith in God, you can do it!

Listen to this testimony! Sarah had been married to seven husbands in the past. But each of them always died on the very night they try to come together as husband and wife because a great demon possessed her. When Sarah knelt down and cried to God, God sent Archangel Raphael with the good news of liberation for her (cf. Tob 3:7-17).

The archangel Raphael is still very much ready with your own good news of liberation waiting at your door. Are you ready to unlock that door with prayer?

It does not matter how long you have been praying. You need to keep praying in season and out of season. That was why even after it was certain that God was already answering their prayers, Tobias and Sarah still knelt down to pray together for God’s mercy before they could go to bed on their first night after marriage (cf. Tob 8:4-8). And indeed God saved them.

Imagine how many marriages and homes that could be saved when married couples learn of the prime importance of prayer in marriage and other life challenges.

May the Lord teach us how to pray and let the Holy Spirit push us to pray as we ought to. And may all our prayers find favour in the sight of God. Amen.

I wish you a happy day with miracles and liberation. Peace be with you.
