????”MY HOUSE SHALL BE CALLED A HOUSE OF PRAYER FOR ALL PEOPLES” (Isa 56:7)
Do you know that you are also important to God? Yes, I mean you!
God does not have favourites (cf. Rom 2:11). It is his desire that all should be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth (cf. 1 Tim 2:4). That includes you! God wants you also to be saved.
So the preparation we talked about yesterday is as well meant for you irrespective of who you are or what you are in the society. We all are called to embrace holiness and greatness like our Master, Jesus (see John 5:33-36).
Once more, one way to do that is to “keep justice and do righteousness” (Isa 56:1). Since God does not discriminate against anyone, we too are called to shun discrimination of any kind, whether it is with regards to race, status, or tribe. We are all one in Christ Jesus (cf. Gal 3:26-29).
Can you reach out today to someone you know that least expects your love? Is there anyone you look down upon because of age, race or status? If we want to be part of the beneficiaries of the salvation of God, we must begin to pull down the walls that divide us.
As you make effort to join Christ in healing the wounds of division among us, may he also heal you of all that try to separate you from his love and all that try to rob you of the joy of salvation in this season of unlimited joy. Amen
Have a joyful day ahead. It is well with you.
