IT IS THE ENDTIME…

📑1 John 2:18-21; Ps 96:1-2, 11-12, 13 (R.v.11a); John 1:1-18

Give thanks to the Lord for he is good, for his great love endures forever (Ps 118:1).

We thank the Lord who made it possible for us to see this final day of the Year 2015. May his name be glorified both now and forever. Amen.

Endtime is a period of evaluation. Find out time today to think back and think of how you related with the Word of God who took flesh and dwelt among us. Were you faithful to him or you allowed yourself to be deceived by the anti-Christ?

St John warns us of the presence of the anti-Christ right in our midst (1 John 2:18-21). The anti-Christ denies the coming of Christ in the flesh when the Gospel already tells us so (cf. John 1:1-18). Today, the anti-Christ can be in the form of those things that make us believe that we have all the time in the world to enjoy ourselves in immorality and despise Christ.

Jesus is the Light. May he guide you safely into the new year and in the end, grant you eternal life. Amen.
