????”IF THEN GOD GAVE THE SAME GIFT TO THEM AS HE GAVE TO US… WHO WAS I THAT I COULD WITHSTAND GOD?” (Acts 11:17)
As we enter yet another working week and continue our pilgrimage of faith here on earth, Jesus reminds us what he told us yesterday, “I am the good shepherd” (John 10:11). This good shepherd lays down his life for his sheep that they may have life in abundance (John 10:10). Even if you have not been part of the main flock, never worry, you can still have a share in him (cf. John 10:16).
Note that this good shepherd shuns division or discrimination of any kind (see Acts 11:1-15) and would never abandon you even if people abandon you. The question is whether you are ready to follow his leadership. Do not separate yourself from him nor allow yourself to be used to separate others from him. He wants all that are part of his flock to be under his mantle (John 10:16).
It will be good also that you are not among those who introduces discrimination in the society especially in the community of believers. It is evil and Antichrist to relate with people and condition their welfare based on where they come from and who they are instead of what they can offer or what is due to them.
By the way, when your showers of blessing begins to flow, which surely will, do not be angry when the drops from the showers touches your neighbours, even the ones you might consider as unworthy of the blessings. Before God, there is no discrimination. His banner is wide enough to take us all.
May his grace be multiplied in your life at all times so that, doing only what he would want us do, we may gain eternal life in the end. Amen
I wish you a beautiful and prosperous working week. Peace be with you.
” BEFORE GOD THERE IS NO DISCRIMINATION”………THANKS FOR THE HOMILY FR.
Amen and with your spirit.
God will help us in sharing love to one another
