“DO NOTHING FROM SELFISHNESS OR CONCEIT, BUT IN HUMILITY COUNT OTHERS BETTER THAN YOURSELVES” (Phil 2:3)
⏰Monday of the Thirty-First Week of Ordinary Time 2 (05 November 2018)
📕Phil 2:1-4; Ps 131:1, 2, 3; Luke 14:12-14
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you.
It is an end of the month on a day that ushers in a brand new working week. On this day, the Lord shall mercifully close down any door that might lead to shame in your life and open for you, doors of fame, miracle and extraordinary favour through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Those who used to look down on you will begin to make positive references with your name. The light of Christ will lead you to the place where your blessings wait for you. You shall no longer be pitied but celebrated. Amen.
The Lord will do even more for you if you can keep his precepts well. Remember that he summarized the precepts into one word, “LOVE.”❤
In 1 John 3:16, that love is described as sacrificial and reciprocal; in the way that Jesus offered himself for the love of us, we are to spend our lives for others. St Paul encourages us to do this without thinking about ourselves and what we might gain (cf. Phil 2:1-4).
Jesus tells us that if we are able to do that effectively, our reward will come at the resurrection of the just (cf. Luke 14:13-14). What else do we need apart from the crown of eternal glory?
May God grant us the grace to remain faithful and focused upon that common goal of being happy in heaven at last. Amen
a miraculous and fulfilled week ahead. It is well with you.
