📕Isa 50:4-9a; Ps 69:8-10, 21-22, 31 and 33-34 (R.v.14c, b); Matt 26:14-25

If God be for us, who can be against us? Nobody! So I want to encourage you, stick to doing good and embracing peace. The enemy might be threatening to frustrate you because of your righteousness, don’t worry. Let the third Servant Song that we read from Isa 50:4-9 encourage you to know that God never abandons his own.

Like the servant in that third song, learn to listen to the voice of God and obey it even in the face of great persecution. The favour and mercy of God must surely locate you. And then, the enemy who was laughing at you would join you for thanksgiving for the great marvels of the Lord in your life. Amen.

As for the wicked that go about planning evil for others, let them learn from the life of Judas and see that there is no good end for evil schemers. Even if the evil action finally leads to the progress of the oppressed as Judas’ action led to the victory of Jesus on the Cross, great punishment still await the perpetrators of the evil because God does not need evil to achieve good.

May God save us from the evil that our enemies plan against us and also help us to stay away from planning evil against others. Amen.

Have a victorious day ahead. Peace be with you.
